Common questions
The assistant says price data is still loading.
The server downloads the national price table from the Ministry after it starts, which takes about half a minute. Ask again shortly. If it keeps failing, the Ministry’s site may be unreachable at the moment.
A price looks wrong.
Prices are typed in by station operators, so mistakes happen. The service already hides prices that are far from the national norm and prices older than 8 days, and every result shows how long ago the station last reported. Ask your assistant to confirm the station’s details before you drive there. To report a wrong price at the source, contact the station operator or the Ministry through carburanti.mise.gov.it.
The cheapest station is far away, or in Livigno.
Livigno is a duty-free zone where fuel really is much cheaper. Ask for a smaller radius or a specific town or province.
A station is missing or has the wrong location.
The list comes from the Ministry. Station locations are entered by operators and are not always verified; stations with clearly impossible coordinates are left out of location searches.
Is this an official service?
No. It uses the Ministry’s public data but is independent and unofficial.
