Privacy policy

Who we are

The service is operated by Zeke V. Holt (“we”), who is the data controller for the limited processing described below. Contact: hi@zvh.io.

What the service does

It lets an AI assistant look up Italian fuel prices on your behalf. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no payments, and no cookies.

What we process

Only what your assistant sends with each request, and only to answer that request:

  • search filters: fuel type, brand, province, region, town, price limits, how old a price may be;
  • coordinates of a place you named, or the waypoints of a trip you described. The server rounds them to about 110 m on arrival, because a station search does not need more;
  • place names or addresses you ask it to look up;
  • station ids.

We do not ask for your name, email, phone number or device location, and we cannot tell who you are from a request.

What we store and log

  • The server keeps one log line per request: the tool used, the search filters, how long it took and whether it succeeded. Coordinates, routes and place names or addresses are removed before logging and are never written to disk by us.
  • Place lookups are remembered in the server’s memory for up to 24 hours so the same lookup is not repeated. Restarting the server clears them.
  • The hosting platform processes requests and may keep standard operational records, such as timestamps and the IP address of the connecting client (usually your AI provider’s servers, not your device). We have not turned on any feature that records request contents. Retention there follows the platform’s own policy.

Third parties

  • Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy (MIMIT), Osservaprezzi Carburanti: the server downloads the public price table. No information about you is sent.
  • OpenStreetMap Nominatim (OpenStreetMap Foundation): when the assistant uses the place-lookup tool, the place name or address you typed is sent to nominatim.openstreetmap.org to find its coordinates. This is the only place text leaves our server. Their privacy policy applies to that request.
  • Hosting and delivery: the server runs on Manufact (mcp-use) cloud infrastructure, behind Cloudflare.
  • Your AI assistant: your conversation is handled by the assistant’s provider under its own policy. We only receive the tool request described above.

Why we process it, and your rights

We process these inputs to provide the service you asked your assistant to use, and to keep it secure and reliable (legitimate interests). Because requests are not linked to an identity, we usually cannot match a request to a person. If you believe we hold personal data about you, write to hi@zvh.io to ask for access, correction or deletion. You can also complain to your data protection authority (in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).

Children

The service is not directed to children under 16.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date above changes with it.
